First of we had to circle the numbers, underline the question, box the key words, evaluate and draw and solve and check.
secondly we solved it like this. So how many times does 50 cents go into $3.50 the answer my group got =7
Now they bought the ticket at 3.15pm and what time does the ticket expire. if we add 15 onto 3.15 it =3.30
then if you have 3.30pm and ad two more 15 min on it =4.00pm then you have 4 15 min left when you add those onto 4.00 you get 5.00 and that is your answer
